Gautam Menon Gets A Shocker From His Producers

The other day, the first look poster of a Tamil film titled Anbu Selvan was released. Gautam Menon played the lead role in it. Actor Vishnu Vishal and director Pa.Ranjith have released the poster of this movie on their respective social media handles.

Right after the unveil, Gautam Menon stated that he doesn’t know anything about this film. “This is shocking & news to me. I have no idea what this film is that I’m supposed to be acting in. I don’t know or haven’t met the director whose name is on this poster. Producer has got big names to tweet this. It’s shocking & scary that something like this can be done so easily,” he tweeted.

After GVM’s statement, the film’s production house MM Studios released a two-minute footage clip on its Youtube channel. The clip is of an intense scene featuring Gautam along with the actor Vivek Prasanna.

The makers denied Gautam’s statements and proved that he is indeed part of Anbu Selvan. However, GVM is yet to respond to this footage clip. It has to be seen how the director will respond to this clip.

On the directorial front, Gautam is currently busy with the works of his upcoming film Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu, which features Simbu in the lead role.
