Kamal Haasan Back To ‘Theatre’

Kamal Haasan is one of the finest gems of Indian Cinema. He is not just an actor but a multi-talented personality who can sing, write, produce, direct, and possesses many other skills in the 24 crafts. Cinema is in his veins.

Kamal started off his career as a theatre actor and he is now planning to go back to his roots. The actor recently revealed that he will be re-entering the theatre arena soon. Kamal said that he is planning to start a theatre group in the coming days.

The Dasavatharam actor attended the theatre play of the recent feature film Vinodaya Sitham. Samuthirakani was the lead hero of the film version. Kamal attended as the chief guest for this stage play.

Speaking at the event, Kamal said that acting in films is easier than acting in stage plays. He said theatre actors need to get audiences appreciation right after their performance. He said that he used to work with the TKS theatre group before venturing into films.

Kamal then revealed that he has plans of starting a theatre group in the future. We may expect an official announcement and more details about it in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Kamal is currently working for the film Vikram, which is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It is aiming for a summer 2022 release.
