Criticism On Samantha After Signing This?

What is going on queen bee Samantha’s mind when it comes to signing a Telugu movie is not known for the now. Because, the actress has signed only three Tamil movies recently including the one with Vignesh Shivan, and the other two with relatively new directors. But she hasn’t picked even a single Telugu film so far. 

However, with the news coming out that she will shake a leg in a massy avatar for an item song in Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa, even her fans got stunned. While she’s going to pour oodles of glamour for sure in the song, she is also charging a bomb of nearly ₹ 1.5 crores to star in it. A section of films lovers could be now seen criticising Samantha now for agreeing to an item number for the mere sake of a tempting paycheck. 

Back then, Samantha always said that she will pick up films only that give her job satisfaction more than the remuneration. After giving such statements, one wonders why she picked up an item number to mark her comeback to the silver screen after the disastrous Jaanu alongside Sharwanand. All said and done, an item song will give her intense and instant publicity which happens to be her top priority now. 

Meanwhile, Samantha’s next big Telugu release will be Gunasekhar’s Shakuntalam movie, an epic mythology film.
