Netflix Shelves Sonakshi Sinha’s Bulbul!

Earlier this year, streaming giant Netflix announced a film titled Bulbul Tarang, featuring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role. However, it is now being heard that the project has been completely shelved due to various reasons.

According to the sources, Sonakshi had walked out of the film some time ago. Neither she nor the makers have disclosed the news to the media.

But it is still unclear why Netflix has dropped the project after Sonakshi’s exit because they could have replaced her with some other actress.

It is being reported that there might have been other strong reasons for Netflix to shelve this film. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, Bulbul Tarang had Tahir Raj Bhasin as the lead hero.

Raj Babbar and Sushmitha Mukherjee were supposed to play key characters in the movie. Bulbul Tarang was supposed to be a social drama with a strong message.

As of now, Sonakshi is busy with the works of her upcoming film Double XL, which is being directed by Mudassar Aziz. Huma Qureshi is playing the other lead role in it.
