Wedding pictures of YS Anil Reddy’s daughter Shreya have been going viral on social media since Thursday. The grand reception has attracted everyone’s attention because of celebrities and also for its royal decorations and luxury arrangements. Now few reports are going viral about the whooping amount reportedly spent on the wedding.
Shreya got married in Chennai on November 5. Her father YS Anil Reddy is the cousin of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The wedding reception took place at the famous five-star hotel The Leela Palace in Chennai. Several videos and photographs from the celebrations have appeared on social media.
According to reports circulating on social media, the family reportedly spent around Rs. 25 crore on wedding decorations itself. However there is no official confirmation about this amount.
The wedding celebrations included Mehendi and Haldi functions along with a Sangeet ceremony. Each event reportedly had a different theme. The Wedding Square is said to have handled the special wedding arrangements. The Mehendi and Haldi functions featured colourful flowers and beautiful Boho-style decorations. The organisers also said to have combined traditional Rajasthani designs with modern decoration styles.
The Sangeet ceremony had a different look. The ballroom reportedly featured purple and blue orchids along with crystal lights and special lighting arrangements.
The main wedding decoration also became a major talking point. Reports claim that the family spent around Rs. 8 crore on the wedding day decorations alone to make the venue look like an Italian palace garden.
The wedding mandap featured white and pink lilies along with expensive roses. The organisers also reportedly created a special mirror runway for the bride and groom.
Reports also suggest that the organisers brought special flowers from countries like the Netherlands and Thailand along with Ecuador and Colombia. The other interesting news circulating on social media is that guests enjoyed a special food menu with international dishes and expensive desserts.
