Marakkar Grand Trailer: Patriotic Story Of Bravery

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s Marakkar grand trailer has been unveiled. The action-packed trailer promises an epic and patriotic story of bravery. Mohanlal appeared as Kunjali Marakkar who earned his reputation with his ferocious ambush on Portuguese ships.

Marakkar trailer starts off with the Portuguese assembling a huge army both land and oceanic to end the supremacy of Kunjali Marakkar. Portuguese general issues a notice to have Marakkar’s head at his feet dead or alive. We get to see the glimpses of battle sequences at sea. In between the trailer also shows the emotional scenes as Marakkar recalls the memories of his mother.

Director Priyadarshan has managed to recreate the bygone era in terms of costumes, weapons and sets. The epic period drama also stars Arjun Sarja, Suniel Shetty, Prabhu, Manju Warrier, Keerthy Suresh among others.

Marakkar has reportedly been made at the cost of Rs 100 crore, making it the most expensive Malayalam film ever made. Suresh Productions will be releasing the movie in Telugu states on December 3rd.
