Other day Telugu box office has seen two more new films coming to the theatres. Back then, when each and every Telugu film is trying to cash on a Friday, almost all the films got attention.
But for some reason, other day’s two releases including Naga Shourya’s Lakshya and Shriya’s Gamanam haven’t got the required stares from the audience. Wonder why?
In the first place, both Naga Shourya’s Lakshya and Shriya’s Gamanam have one thing in common. That is nothing but the slow pace of those movies and the lack of drama as well as the adrenaline rushing moments.
When a racy film like Akhanda is around, surely these slow movies don’t get the needed attention and that is what happened. Had Akhanda suffered from a mixed talk, then these two films would have found some relief. But the Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer hasn’t left any such gaps.
While critics hailed the physical transformation of Naga Shourya in Lakshya and the acting prowess of Shriya as a deaf girl in Gamanam, surely their praises are not getting loud as the towering presence of Akhanda is making the audience merry already.
And in a week if Pushpa occupies theatres, whatever the slow-talk that is around these movies will further shrink thus making them vanish in time.
