Sukumar’s Busy Days Ahead With VD & Charan

Sukumar, who is currently relishing the triumph of his last released Pushpa: The Rise, is also simultaneously working on the pre-production works of Pushpa: The Rule. Known for his profound commercial movies with therapeutic comedy and special numbers, Sukumar is enjoying this phase of his career with back to back movies.

As we know, he is looking forward to taking Pushpa Part two on floors from February end and the director also shared a few deets on his plans for the year 2022. Sukumar confirmed a film each with Vijay Deverakonda and Ram Charan. He said that he has a film with Ram Charan, but it’s not locked yet.

“I am also doing a film with Vijay Deverakonda,” he said, adding that he is entirely focussed on Pushpa 2 at present. “After Pusha: The Rule, I will do a film with Vijay Deverakonda film and then with Ram Charan,” says Sukumar. The Ram Charan film will mark their reunion after the humongous success of Rangasthalam, a blockbuster political drama set.

Sukumar also spoke about his efforts behind the success of Pushpa: The Rise. He said he had done a lot of research on Sandalwood smuggling in order to discover that more than 1 lakh 80 thousand crores of Sandalwood are smuggled to China and Japan. He concluded by saying that he underwent rigorous research on the subject for a web series, but then thought the story could be an apt backdrop for a commercial film.
