Chiranjeevi
Megastar Chiranjeevi has made sensational comments during the issual of health cards to 24 crafts of Tollywood who can avail 50 percent discount in diagnostic tests of Yodha diagnostic tests. He thanked the management of the diagnostic company for taking the initiative considering his request. Chiru said that he wants to extend support to the families of cine workers of Telugu film industry whose lives became miserable after Covid-19 pandemic.
Responding to the requests to be the head of Tollywood, Chiranjeevi said, “I’m not the head of Tollywood. I don’t want such a position. I act responsibly. When there is a crisis, I don’t mind coming to the front to resolve it. When cine workers have any issue, I’ll voluntarily take up the issue for their benefit. But I don’t want to intervene in personal fights. I don’t do Panchayatis or settlements.”
Chiranjeevi made his stand clear. Ever since Dasari Narayanarao passed away, it is buzzed that Chiru would fill Dasari’s spot in the industry and would act as the Tollywood head. But Chiru said that he doesn’t want any position. Chiru said he is responsible and sensible towards industry problems.
Chiru’s statements come in the wake of ticket prices issue and shutting down of cinemas in the state. Chiru stepped in and spoke to Cinematography minister Perni Nani for resolving the issue. But AP government is miffed with comments of some actors and filmmakers against it.
