Pushpa Amazon Release: Don’t Believe Rumours

While Allu Arjun’s latest blockbuster bonanza Pushpa: The Rise is continuing its unshakable run at the box office with Bollywood theatres registering the highest collection on Day 17th of release, double than that of Day 1, rumors have started to flow that the film is hitting Amazon Prime Video soon. And someone has come up with a date that Pushpa is getting readied for OTT streaming from Jan 7th.

Surprised by all these rumors, film’s producer Mythri Movie Makers confirmed that Psushpa will not hit OTT release until it completes the theatrical run. With some massive collections coming its way from Bollywood, why would the makers opt for an OTT release now? In fact, they are said to have signed a deal that Pushpa will head to Amazon Prime only 50 days from the date of release. That means it will be hitting OTT only in February.

On the other hand, Pushpa is continuing its golden run at the box office with the worldwide collections likely to touch Rs 300 crores very soon. And with the makers and Allu Arjun still promoting the film somehow or the other, this run will continue without any opposition until Sankranthi films take over.
