Superstar Krishna’s grandson and Guntur MP Jayadev Galla’s son Ashok Galla enters films with Hero helmed by Sriram Aditya under home production banner. He shared interesting aspects about the movie during his meet with scribes.
What kind of homework you did for your debut film?
I trained myself in dances and fights, as to give my best for the film. Sriram sent me scenes of Chiranjeevi movies as a reference for few scenes in our movie. I tried doing those scenes in my own style.
Is there any strong reason behind naming the movie Hero?
I can’t tell you much about the story right now. A twist in the movie itself justifies the title. I’m pretty confident that you’ll say it’s an apt title, after watching the movie.
Why did you choose an upcoming director, rather than a star director?
I watched Sriram’s previous movies, he makes different movies. Moreover, I liked the story and we got connected to each other in no time.
How’s your Character in the movie?
He’s a middle-class guy who wants to become a hero. He is very aggressive who believes he can do anything.
How you’re going to carry the legacy of your family forward?
I didn’t plan beyond this movie. However, I knew, there’s responsibility. I’m not a natural dancer, as acting is my main passion.
What was Mahesh Babu’s reaction when you told him to enter films?
Mahesh Babu believed, only after I started training. He was preparing me more about how to handle it as an individual, rather than giving me acting tips.
How’s working with Nidhhi?
I was very comfortable, because of the freedom she’s given me. There’s no tension between us. She’s very professional.
How was the experience of facing camera?
I was very comfortable in front of the camera. As I came with my own interest, I don’t feel any tension.
Why did you choose a commercial story for your first movie?
The format is commercial only. However, once you watch the movie, you’ll realize that it’s not typical commercial story. Sriram Aditya made this as a commercial movie in his style.
How’s Mahesh Babu doing?
Mahesh Babu is recovering from Covid. He’s extremely safe, self-isolated at home, with mild symptoms. I think he will recover completely in another 2 to 3 days.
What do you say about Krishna Garu and Mahesh Babu?
Krishna garu is extremely brave individual. Daring and dashing is apt for him. Mahesh’s sense of humour, talent and intelligence are next level. Many didn’t notice but he has sharp mind.
Did you feel bad about delay of your first movie due to covid?
I didn’t feel about covid, but I felt bad for the delay. I never felt that it’s happening only for me.
