I Can Never Forget The Great Gesture Of Ravi Teja: Vishnu Vishal

Vishnu Vishal pins many hopes to impress Telugu audience with his next release FIR which is coming to theatres on February 11th. Interestingly, Ravi Teja is the presenter for the film directed by Manu Anand. The film’s pre-release event took place in Hyderabad was attended by Sundeep Kishan and Siddhu Jonnalagadda as special guests.

Director Manu Anand said, “I approached Vishnu Vishal with this film as a hero. I never approached him as a producer. After listening to the story for about 20 minutes, he immediately gave his nod. Later on, he was forced and was put in a situation to take up and produce this film. Vishnu was hell bent on making it as a very big project. Manjima is a brilliant actress. I had the good fortune of directing Gautam Menon sir in this film.”

Vishnu Vishal said, “If FIR becomes a hit, I’m going to come in Telugu with more movies and very soon I will learn the language. I will indeed do a straight Telugu movie. Without Ravi Teja, all this wouldn’t have happened here. We wanted to release the movie only in theatres. Jwala is one of the main reasons for FIR to release in theatres. After she watched the movie, she was hell-bent on releasing it in theatres. She even warned not to talk to me, if I don’t dub and release the movie in Telugu.

Sundeep has been a great support. We did a film simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. But that got shelved. Since then, we are very good friends. Ravi Teja sir and I had good conversation about cinema, when I first met him. When I asked sir, are you always like this. He told me, I struggled a lot, I realized lots of things on the way up and I just want to be me.’ That was so good. I’ve showed him the trailer of FIR. Later he watched the movie as well and he said he’s on board and he wanted to present it.

Ravi Teja sir was so sportive about clashing FIR with Khiladi. He said, ‘Khiladi is my film as an actor and FIR is my movie as a presenter.’ I can never forget this great gesture of his. I think everybody will connect to the movie because of the content and theme. I soon want to meet on first success meet of FIR.”
