Buzz: Nagarjuna In Talks For A Big OTT Debut

Of course, with films not creating desired results and 80% of the audience moving towards watching content on mobile phones, the power of OTT is at an all-time high.

To catch up with the trends, big stars are now considering making a debut on these OTT platforms while senior stars are looking at it as an extension of their careers.

With Annapurna Studios in hand, surely Nagarjuna could produce something for himself and get it streamed on any OTT platform, but then, he’s not getting into that producer thing now.

Reports are coming up that Disney Hotstar has offered Nagarjuna a lead role in a web series to be directed by a newcomer director. As Hotstar is always offering him the best roles including that of hosting Bigg Boss and Bigg Boss OTT, he is said to have given nod for the web series also.

Apparently, this web series is going to be another costly affair of Hotstar in the Telugu circuits though the fact remains the same that all of their costly Telugu web series have failed big time so far.

But Nagarjuna is confident that new-age drama is going to stun the audiences and that’s why he took OTT route now. But we have to wait for the official announcement for the confirmation.
