Noted Actress Turns As Director

Heroine Kalyani needs no introduction to the Tollywood audiences. She stole the hearts of Telugu folks during the early 2000s with films like Seshu, Avunu Valliddharu Ishtapaddaru, Pedababu, Kabaddi Kabaddi, and Dongodu.

After fading out as an actress, Kalyani started doing supporting roles. In the recent past, we haven’t seen her doing such roles as well. After a long time, she came back into the limelight with a new film.

This time, she is not acting but directing the project. This is going to be Kalyani’s first directorial venture. She is also bankrolling this untitled film under the banner of KK Productions.

Recently, the first look poster of the film was unveiled on the occasion of Valentines Day. Young actor Chethan Cheenu is playing the lead hero in this movie.

The project is being made in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages. More details about the rest of the cast and crew are expected to be announced soon.

After proving her talent as an actor, it has to be seen how Kalyani manages to succeed as a producer and director.
