Bheemla Nayak is the upcoming Telugu biggie that is carrying a lot of expectations at the box office. In a couple of days, the film will be in theatres. Starring Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati, the film is the official remake of the Malayalam super hit film Ayyappanum Koshiyum. The makers held a grand pre-release event of the film in Hyderabad today and it was graced by KTR and Talasani Srinivas Yadav as the chief guests.
“I never understand the concept of being a Telugu cinema hero. With this project, I met a lot of wonderful people. When I am in a dilemma about how to become a hero, I saw Pawan Kalyan. He is different as well as special.” said Rana Daggubati, while speaking at the event.
“If the films I did so far are on one level, and the films that I am going to make from now, under the influence of Pawan Kalyan will be next level.” said the actor.
“The film would not have happened without Trivikram Srinivas garu,” said Rana, adding a fun fact that Rana was cast for the film first and Pawan Kalyan came on board after that.
Rana also thanked the Telangana government for its continuous support of the Telugu film industry. “I promise you that Hyderabad will be the capital of the Indian cinema,” concluded Rana.
Written by Trivikram Srinivas and directed by Saagar K Chandra, the film also features Nithya Menen and Samyuktha Menen in the female lead roles. Sithara Entertainments bankrolled the film.
Bheemla Nayak is releasing on 25th February worldwide.
