It has been almost four months since the demise of popular Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar. He died of a sudden cardiac arrest in Bengaluru in October 2021. His final film James is all set to hit the screens on March 17, which also happens to be his birth anniversary.
Meanwhile, it is being heard that the makers of James are planning to hold a huge pre-release event on March 6.
If the ongoing buzz is anything to go by, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Jr. NTR will grace this event as chief guests.
Chiru and NTR are dear friends of Puneeth’s family. In fact, NTR also sang a song for Puneeth Rajkumar’s film a few years back. They used to be very close friends.
We hear that both Chiru and NTR have also given their nod to attend the event. An official announcement is expected to be made in a few days.
Directed by Chethan Kumar, James is all set to hit the screens in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
