Thalapathy Vijay has become Tamil Nadu’s chief minister. The actor is currently busy with the state’s administrative work and has already announced his retirement from movies. Vijay has made it clear that he is not willing to act again. But there is a slight twist: Vijay has reportedly decided to don makeup again for an acting assignment. He will soon be featured in an advertisement sponsored by the Tamil Nadu government.
Usually, the government brings brand ambassadors to promote welfare schemes to the public. They bring in cinema actors to gain wide visibility. Now, no one else can draw as much attention to government ads as Vijay. So, he decided to act in one such advertisement. Surprisingly, the advertisement will be shot like a film.
Reportedly, the budget allocated for a government ad is usually less. But, this particular advertisement will be made on a big budget and a grand scale. Noted filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon will reportedly be directing the ad, and other experienced technical crew will come on board.
Vijay is said to have allocated two days for filming the advertisement, and the shoot will reportedly happen after the by-election in the state, which is scheduled to take place for five constituencies in the state.
