Buzz: Rajamouli To Repeat Alia?

It looks like Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is focussing more on the Telugu film industry these days. Her recent film Gangubai Kathiawadi was dubbed into Telugu and had a theatrical release in the Telugu states.

Her next release will be the magnum opus RRR in which she played the female lead for Ram Charan. Though her role is a brief one, we hear that Alia will make a strong statement with her performance. This movie marks her official debut in Tollywood.

Even before RRR’s release, Alia signed another Telugu film with Jr. NTR and director Koratala Siva. Alia herself revealed the news in a press interaction.

Both these movies are pan-India projects. If the latest grapevine is anything to go by, the Highway actress is all set to sign yet another pan-India project.

According to the industry sources, Alia will be paired alongside Superstar Mahesh Babu in his upcoming action epic, which will be directed by SS Rajamouli. Apparently, Rajamouli was mightily impressed by Alia’s performance in RRR and decided to rope her in for Mahesh’s film too.

Though the news is not confirmed officially yet, fans are pretty much excited by hearing this speculation. Touted to be a full-on action thriller set in the forest backdrop, the shoot of this untitled film is expected to begin next year.
