Want To Remake Jagadam With Ram: Sukumar

The protagonist joins a new gang and comes up against another group of ruthless goons, but he doesn’t flinch one bit and stands up. This is one of the iconic scenes in Jagadam, which has Ram Pothineni in the lead role and is directed by Sukumar. The film completed 15 years. On this occasion, Sukumar made interesting comments.

“Ram Pothineni always carried the right demeanor for a mass hero image. His debut film Devadas implied the same and he followed it up with Jagadam,” Sukumar shared.

Speaking on the occasion of Jagadam completing 15 years, Sukumar spoke at length about the film that holds a special place in his heart.

“Whenever I used to go to watch people fight on roads, they used to pacify and stop fighting. I then used to turn back disappointed. This is the inspiration for one of the main scenes in Jagadam. agadam is largely inspired from my personal life and experiences. Ram was 17 at that time but not once did he say no to risky stunts. He gave his everything for the film. Ram is a sharp actor,” Sukumar said.

Sukumar then confirmed that he will definitely do a film with Ram in the near future. “I want to remake Jagadam with Ram,” Sukumar stated.
