Sharmaji Namkeen Trailer: Life After Retirement!

Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor’s last film ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ was supposed to be shelved. But veteran actor Paresh Rawal stepped into the shoes of Rishi and helped the film to get completed. For the first time in Hindi cinema, two legendary actors are essaying the same role. The trailer of ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ was dropped by Amazon Prime.

Sharma is a retired man who sits idle at home. Tired of boredom at home, he finds his passion in cooking. He wants to open a fast food chain but his son doesn’t encourage him. Unexpectedly Sharma gets to cook for a kitty party and there he meets Juhi Chawla.

A relationship blossoms between Sharma and Juhi but Sharma’s son is not convinced with things happening around his father. But Sharma is stubborn to live life on his terms. The conflict of father and son gives an emotional vibe.

‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ is directed by Hitesh Bhatia and Rishi Kapoor excels in his role. It’s a perfect tribute to the legend and kudos to Paresh Rawal for accepting to do the film where it received breaks.

The film will be streaming from March 31st.
