RRR: Can We Expect 200 Cr On Day 1?

We are just six days away from the release of the much-awaited magnum opus of SS Rajamouli, RRR. There is huge anticipation around this Jr. NTR and Ram Charan-starrer mega-budget film. RRR is slated for worldwide release on March 25.

Trade pundits are expecting it to shatter all the possible existing records at the box office. It is being predicted that the movie may collect a worldwide gross of Rs. 200 crores on the first day.

RRR was made on a big budget of over Rs. 400 crores and the pre-release business was done for reportedly a figure that is double than the film’s actual budget. The film is having a wide release across the world in multiple languages.

It is heard that the movie may collect a share of Rs.50 crores on the first day from both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh itself. The governments of both the states have given permission for the five shows and the ticket prices have been hiked as well. Thus, there are heavy chances of it getting Rs. 50 crores shares on day one.

There is a huge buzz for the film across the country as well. The pre-sales are phenomenal in the USA too. Considering all these factors, the first day gross of Rs. 200 crores seems to be an easy task for this movie.

RRR is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya. Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn played the other key roles in the movie.
