It needs no explanation as to why some Chief Ministers of BJP ruling states and Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself met the team of “The Kashmir Files” and congratulated them for making a marvel. On that note, many are wondering if Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR will also get similar attention or not.
The matter of fact is that while the Congress party always bats for those freedom fighters who have followed the Gandhian ideologies, BJP always stood by those freedom fighters who chose revolutionary tactics as their weapon. And now that RRR is the story of two revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, told in a different ‘fictional’ way, surely it might catch the attention of the ruling party in the Centre.
Moreover, PM Modi recently hailed the power of Telugu cinema and cited Pushpa as an example during his speech in Hyderabad. Also many BJP Ministers are often seen using Pushpa’s dialogues during their election rallies up north. Amidst these happenings, some say that BJP will surely vouch for RRR too, and might make the whole team meet the Prime Minister pretty soon.
Also with Rajamouli recently taking a class to Delhi reporters about how he wouldn’t believe the account of Indian history that was sold to us by British writers, sounded pretty much like a BJP narrative only. At the same time, Rajamouli made it clear that he wouldn’t believe but wanted to imagine himself as to what might have happened in the 1920s and that’s how RRR was created. Will these revelations don’t win a favour from BJP? Let’s see.
