If you watch all the interviews given by the RRR trio to various celebrities, you definitely gets a feeling that things are said multiple times and they are repeating the same backstories, shoot diaries, naatu naatu step and all everywhere. But the only interview that stood out among the lot is the one done by ‘Arjun Reddy’ fame director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Apparently the director of the upcoming ‘Animal’ and ‘Spirit’ has stunned everyone by exposing another dimension of Rajamouli. While commoners might not like it big, actually Sandeep made Rajamouli reveal many technical insights and behind-the-scenes stuff of RRR. The legendary director explained how they have built miniature sets for the train blast sequence, how the fur and animation were done over the tiger in that hyped fight sequence of NTR, and how a top-notch Hollywood visual effects company like MPC delivered stunning sequences for the movie.
As Sandeep asked Rajamouli about stuff like symbolism and preparing for the action choreography in Hollywood way, the Baahubali maker felt quite excited. He explained how a fight sequence in RRR (Ram Charan’s introduction sequence) was first choreographed by a Hollywood stuntman which didn’t convince him, and how Solomon master has come up with an alternative for that.
For upcoming filmmakers and already struggling directors, this interview will give wonderful information and piece of knowledge about how they should think while writing script, visualizing scenes and executing them on the sets. Thank you Sandeep Reddy Vanga for bringing the best out of Rajamouli’s interviews so far.
