Everyone knows the fact that director SS Rajamouli has openly stated that the characters of Ram and Bheem in RRR were actually inspired by Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, two freedom fighters from Telugu states. However, inside the film, there is nothing that he actually took as a reference from their lives or characterization.
With Rajamouli giving more of Lord Rama’s touch to Ram Charan’s getup, and NTR appearing like a Hanuman who owes to support him and take him back to Sita (Alia Bhatt), North Indians have loved it, and that has actually overlapped Alluri angle. However, many Telugu fans who kept believing that Rajamouli carved out a patriotic angle in RRR based on Raju’s life and times with a figment of imagination, got hugely disappointed.
Though there is no denial that Ramaraju is the one who inspired Ram Charan’s character, the climax feelers Rajamouli by giving a Lord Rama touch has changed the overall opinion on onlookers and the audiences. However, the Lord Rama image has worked out well in the North India as they started to feel like watching Lord Rama on the screen.
