Director Prashant Neel is nervous as KGF Chapter 2 is all set for massive release on April 14th. Prashant admits that he is nervous and he is keeping his fingers crossed. He answered to the volley of questions posed by the Telugu media the other day after the pre-release event.
Are you feeling relaxed as the film is locked and delivered? “No, I’m nervous. Even after a film is completed, no filmmaker is completely satisfied as there is still a chance to make betterments.” Prashant added that he gets tensed when asked about the film’s massive expectations and being compared to the likes of RRR, Baahubali.
Franchise films have seldom worked. Baahubali broke that jinx. Will KGF 2 also follow in the line of Baahubali? “Such track records about sequels and franchises do make me tense. But franchise films have a great advantage. There is no denying it. We hope KGF 2 is going to do well and live up to the expectations of its fans.”
Meanwhile, Prashant has avoided the question about the KGF 2’s film budget. “I’m already nervous. Why do you want to ask about the film’s budget? Producer is aware of the film’s budget. As a director I only sought the resources required to complete the film and they were provided by the producer.”
Prashant is confident that KGF 2 is going to create a storm in theatres on April 14th. He is hoping that the Yash-starrer will repeat its magic at the BO.
