TN CM Stalin Launches Aha Tamil

On Tamil New Year day, Chief Minister M K Stalin launched the Tamil services of popular OTT platform Aha at a colourful event in Chennai.

Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized the importance of entertainment platforms providing local content in order to connect with local audiences.

Actor Silambarasan aka Simbu and music composer Anirudh Ravichander, who were announced as the brand ambassadors for Aha Tamil, unveiled a line-up of its Tamil content. Also, veterans like S P Muthuraman, Bharathiraja, Late AV Meiyyappan, Late MS Viswanathan, Late K Balachander, Late SP Balasubrahmanyam and Late actress Sridevi were given the “Kalignar honour” by the Chief Minister.

In a video message, Allu Arjun congratulated Aha team including his father Allu Aravind, Ram Jupally and Ajit Thakur and thanked Stalin for attending the launch event.

Promoter Ram Jupally said, “We at aha are constantly working towards catering to all demographics through our diverse and relatable content offerings. The reveal of our Tamil slate today on the occasion of Tamil New Year is a reflection of the belief that entertainment and stories are best told and enjoyed in one’s local language.”
