Can He Become An Alternate To Thaman?

One of the biggest heroes from the technical side right now in Tollywood are none other than director SS Rajamouli and composer SS Thaman.

Due to the presence of Thaman’s terrific background score, films like Akhanda and Bheemla Nayak have done extra-ordinarily at the box office. But who else can live up to Thaman’s kind of sound design?

Though critics and some audiences have complained that the background score of KGF: Chapter 2 is pretty loud, mass audiences are pretty enthralled by the music provided by Ravi Basur.

While the KGF’s Rocky Bhai theme music itself is a super hit, Ravi designed some intense sound themes for elevation shots. Combined with efficient music and sound effects, some ordinary scenes got stood out like anything inside the film.

That’s the reason some movie lovers do say that while Prashant Neel would match that of Rajamouli, Ravi Basur is taking the slot of Thaman. Of course, Ravi Basur’s Telugu debut is getting ready to happen, and we have to see if the talented composer will rise as a perfect alternative to Thaman in the south.

It’s the consistency of superhits that made Thaman who he is today and Ravi Basur should also deliver in the same way if he has to make it big in Tollywood.
