Pressure On Acharya From Unexpected Quarters

With the film likely to pose Rs. 100 crores loss for all the parties involved, surely the dent is going to be quite bigger as Megastar Chiranjeevi might have not expected that at this point of time in his career, he will be coming up with such a flopbuster. While that is one side, we hear that the makers of the movie are facing pressure from another unexpected quarter.

Well, these days biggies are being released only 50 days after the release on any OTT platforms, but then, the result of those movies will actually alter this time gap. As the likes of RRR have scored a blockbuster success, the release on OTT got delayed, but Bheemla Nayak got released quite early as it happens to be a super hit only but not a phenomenal grosser. So what’s the case of Acharya now?

As the Koratala Siva directorial hasn’t scored as expected, we hear that Amazon Prime Video is said to have issued an ultimatum to the makers to pick an early release date. Most likely the film might hit the streaming platform on May 20th itself which is almost below 30 days from the day of release.

Some say that the makers might have agreed to that date well in advance, because they got a huge amount for an advanced release, and as they know the result already, they might have taken it.
