Stop Shooting Tamil Films In Telugu States: Roja’s Husband

Of late, many Tamil stars like Rajinikanth, Vijay, and Ajith are shooting their respective films mostly in Hyderabad and not in Chennai. This is affecting the livelihood of cinema workers in Tamil Nadu. Thus, they are now demanding these stars to hold their shootings in Tamil Nadu only and not in Telugu states.

President of the Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI), RK Selvamani said that over 25000 people are part of this association and they earn money only by taking part in shootings. He said that the MoU between Tamil Film Producers’ Association and the FEFSI was terminated on Monday.

Selvamani stated that as many Tamil star heroes are shooting their films in Hyderabad, the cinema employees here in Chennai are losing work. Especially, he asked hero Ajith to shoot his films only in Tamil Nadu.

For the last few years, Ajith has been shooting all his films mostly in Hyderabad. RK Selvamani raised this point and asked Ajith and his upcoming film’s makers to shift the shooting location to Chennai. He said that even Tamil Nadu has all the resources that are needed for their shoot.

Selvamani requested all Tamil actors to think and take the right decision which can help the livelihoods of Tamil cine workers.
