After smashing old records and creating the new ones in its theatrical run, RRR is now ruling the OTT arena. The film was premiered on Zee5 (Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam) and Netflix (Hindi) a few days ago.
Since its digital premiere, this action drama has been receiving a thumping response from the audience. Surprisingly, more international viewers are showing interest in watching this film after the digital release.
As the Hindi version of RRR is streaming on the world’s no.1 OTT platform Netflix, the film got a wider reach and exposure. Many viewers across the world are enjoying this movie on Netflix.
It has now officially become the most-watched film (Non-English) globally on Netflix for the week of May 23 – May 29. Reportedly, RRR was watched for more than 18.3 million (18,360,000) hours on Netflix.
It is also trending in the top-10 list on the platform in more than 60 countries. RRR is the first Indian film to achieve this magnanimous feat.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, this film features NTR Jr and Ram Charan in the lead roles.
