Samantha Is The Kushi Behind VD’s ‘Kushi’

There is a widespread disappointment among the fans of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and other movie lovers as well when it was announced that the movie featuring Vijay Devarakonda and Samantha is titled “Kushi”. But then, the director Siva Nirvana of Majili and Ninnu Kori fame has a pretty good reason to name the film that way.

While this may sound pretty routine, the character played by Samantha in the movie is actually titled ‘Kushi’. For that reason, the film is titled Kushi. Though the Telugu film featuring Pawan Kalyan and Bhumika is titled Kushi just for the sake of creating happiness, the Hindi remake of it featuring Kareena Kapoor has a similar thing as the lead actress was named Kushi Lali Singh in that movie too. Well, that’s a clever way of naming a film rather than giving only a story link to the title.

Reports are coming that the whole film of VD and Samantha will not be set in Kashmir but only 30 minutes episode will have the snow mountains backdrop. Rest of the film will be set in various places while Hyderabad will be the backdrop for a major part of the second half of the movie.
