Nani’s Ante Sundharaniki was released in the theaters today. Here is the first report from one of the US premieres.
The first half is all about establishing the story, of course in a hilarious way. It is a blend of comedy and light emotions, with a good number of sweet twists. The breezy first half has Nani and Nazriya enthralling us with their own stories. Nani is wonderful as always and his conversations with Harshavardhan worked the best.
The second half takes off with hilarious twists and racy turns, to land into an emotional climax. The confusion comedy works fantastic. The pre-climax and climax are more on an emotional note and bring closure with a message.
Nani takes the whole movie to a new level. He is at his full throttle after a long time with his strength, comedy, and timing. Nazriya is terrific and all the supporting cast did well.
The director dealt with more than one sensitive subject in the film, yet he managed to justify by the way he did. On the whole, Ante Sundharaniki has comedy, emotions, and confusion in appropriate proportions, leaving it as a decent family entertainer.
The review will be posted here soon. So stay around.
