That’s Very Bad Numbers, Prabhas!

Prabhas is one of the very few pan-India stars whose craze is unparalleled. With Baahubali, the actor attained huge stardom in Bollywood. However, with back-to-back flops, Prabhas’ image is shattered a little. Saaho and Radhe Shyam are the last two films, starring Prabhas which failed to impress the audience. These two films not only failed in the theatres but also disappointed everyone on Television.

Prabhas’ Saaho managed to do well in Hindi but it ended as a disaster in Telugu. However, Radhe Shyam has become a flop in both Telugu and Hindi. Despite promoting it well, Radhe Shyam resulted in losses for the producers and distributors.

Last Sunday, Radhe Shyam premiered on Zee Telugu for the first time. Zee promoted the film extremely well and also came up with the idea of the Radhe Shyam theme park in Bheemavaram. The satellite channel management expected that the fans of Prabhas would assemble in large numbers to watch the premiere of the film. Thus, it also expected a very good TRP number.

Shocking everyone, the movie failed to attract the TV audience as well. Radhe Shyam generated a TRP number of 8.25 for the first-time premiere. Earlier, Vakeel Saab generated 19 and Bangarraju generated 14 which is almost double that of Radhe Shyam.

Going by these numbers, the netizens already started drawing comparisons that Nag’s film did well on TV, compared to Prabhas’ film. A similar situation took place in Saaho’s case too.

Saaho scored 5.81 and Guna369 which was premiered around the same time on Etv scored 5.91. Now, the failure of Radhe Shyam on TV is a major concern for Prabhas’ fans.

Is Prabhas’ image going south? is one big question that is even trending on social media. It’s time Prabhas should introspect the choices he is currently making.
