Deepika’s Mother Didn’t Know What To Make Of Me – Ranveer Singh

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are one of the most adorable couples in B-Town. After dating for more than five years, the couple tied the knot in 2018. While Ranveer is an outspoken and loud guy, Deepika is calm and sweet. She also comes from introverted family background.

So, it took time for Deepika’s family to get along with Ranveer. He himself revealed the fact in his latest appearance on Koffee With Karan.

Ranveer said that even though Deepika’s parents accepted him, things weren’t smooth for a longer time. In fact, Ranveer has a different wardrobe together for his visits to Bengaluru (where Deepika’s parents stay). He stated that all he wears is a white t-shirt and blue jeans when he is in Bengaluru.

“I am still managing. I am still figuring it out. For starters, I have two wardrobes now. When I go to Bangalore, there is a special wardrobe, a white t-shirt, and blue jeans. I don’t want to throw them off,” said Ranveer.

Ranveer also revealed that initially, Deepika’s mother didn’t know what to make out of him and she was completely thrown away by him. “We took time to warm up to each other but now she is like my mom,” he further added.
