Paruchuri’s Postmortem: SVP Missed additional 100 Cr

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata became a hit at the box office but didn’t satisfy the audiences or fans to the core. They felt that the movie failed to create the magic to be a cult classic like Pokiri or Athadu. Meanwhile, senior writer Paruchuri Gopala Krishna has analyzed the movie recently on his Youtube channel.

Paruchuri opined that the comedy scenes between Mahesh and Keerthy Suresh worked well in the first half. He felt they should have been continued for some more time. Instead, the director chose to give a sudden interval bang and make Mahesh return back to India.

Paruchuri felt that if the makers continued the comedy scenes before revealing the interval twist, the film would have worked in a bigger way.

He also stated that the movie changes its tone and becomes more serious in the second half. He felt that the dialogues between the hero and villain Samuthirakani aren’t effective as they should be.

Paruchuri added that if the focus was more on the entertaining portions between Keerthy and Mahesh, then the movie would have collected additional 100 crores at the box office. Sarkaru Vaari Paata was directed by Parasuram Petla.
