Thank You movie was released with very less hype of all the Naga Chaitanya films. Trailer and Promotions are the main reasons for it. The makers arranged paid premieres in Andhra Pradesh, but none in Hyderabad.
The first half starts slowly with a flat and boring narrative. Except for a few good love scenes of young Naga Chaitanya (Abhiram), there is nothing much. Even the interval bang creates no curiosity.
2nd half has a good reference to Pokiri film which might excite Mahesh Babu’s fans. The sister emotion and a few scenes worked a bit here and there.
Naga Chaitanya excelled in his 3 shade role similar to Premam. His effort to look different in three roles is wasted. Malavika Nair did a decent job. PC Sreeram’s cinematography is picture-perfect.
Overall there is no proper emotional or feel-good connection. Just like the hype, the movie lacks proper punch and strong conflict. The most important part, transformation, and realization are like a forcible and ‘Ready to Change’ kind.
Vikram K Kumar failed big time. Music is a sigh of relief which helped at times.
