Is This Film Ismart Shankar’s Official Remake?

In recent times, Bollywood’s ace producer Karan Johar got pretty close to dashing director Puri Jagan after producing the filmmaker’s Liger with Vijay Devarakonda. It looks like now to beat the ‘masala blues’ of Bollywood, Karan has decided to remake some of the movies of Puri.

Today, the title teaser of “Screw Dheela” is released with Tiger Shroff featuring in the lead role. Directed by Sashank Khaitan, the teaser features Tiger as innocent and after listening to a kidnapped lady he reacts and punches the villains to death. Going by the title, Tiger’s varied characterisation and the scene, it looks like the film is nothing but a remake of the Telugu film “Ismart Shankar”.

Though Karan Johar’s Dharma Production hasn’t mentioned anywhere that the film is either a remake or written fresh by someone, talk is that they have bought the rights of Ismart Shankar and remade it with some changes. And the surprising part is that Rashmika Mandanna got picked up as one of the heroines for the movie, and another Bollywood girl will also feature in the same film.

On the other hand, Screw Dheela teaser hasn’t sounded fresh as most of Tiger’s films including the likes of the Baaghi series and Heropanti series featured similar setups and stunts.
