Nithiin Condemns The ‘Caste’ Trolls On ‘Fake’ Tweet

Actor Nithiin is prepping up for the release of his upcoming film Macharla Niyojakavargam. It will hit the screens on August 12. The movie is being directed by popular editor MS Rajashekhar Reddy (SR Shekhar). It is his maiden directorial project.

Meanwhile, Shekhar has landed in controversy recently. An old tweet from the handle of his name is now going viral on social media. This tweet is an abusive statement toward a few castes. Shekhar took to social media to clarify that the tweet was made through a fake account.

“The tweet in this screenshot is fake. Someone is spreading negativity. Please don’t believe it. The name in this screenshot is different. My username is different. The person who photoshopped it couldn’t do it perfectly either,” he wrote.

“I am a fan of YSR. When YCP won the elections, I just expressed my joy but never abused the people of other castes. I never did it and never do it as well,” he further added.

Adding his support, Nithiin tweeted, “Fake tweet by a Fake person has created unnecessary fuss.. unfortunately, this has hurt the sentiment of others…VERY SAD and DISAPPOINTING. I CONDEMN this kind of FALSE PROPAGANDA…”
