‘Please Don’t Boycott My Film, Watch It’

Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is gearing up for Independence Day weekend release. There are massive expectations on this film and Aamir is busy promoting the movie across Hindi and Telugu languages.

But the film is caught up in a controversy leading to the trend of its boycott. #BoycottLaalSinghChaddha has been trending on social media for the last couple of days and it reached Aamir Khan as well.

In his first reaction, Aamir appealed to the audiences to not boycott the film. “I feel sad to see this,” confessed Aamir Khan. He opined that people who are behind this trend think that he doesn’t like India.

“It is rather unfortunate that some people feel that way. Please don’t boycott my film. Please watch my film,” urged Aamir Khan.

#BoycottLaalSinghChaddha has been used on popular social platforms over half a lakh times. Some netizens brought the issue of Hindu and Muslim conflict while a some reportedly are targeting Aamir Khan with political motive.

With just ten days away from the release, Aamir wants to promote the film extensively but this deliberate attempt is bothering the team of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha.’

Directed by Advait Chandan, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya. Megastar Chiranjeevi is presenting the Telugu version.
