Versatile actor Dhanush was recently seen in the Hollywood biggie The Gray Man. Now, he is coming up with his latest Tamil outing Thiruchitrambalam. Directed by Mithran R Jawahar, this film’s official trailer is now out on the internet.
Going by the trailer, the film looks like a heartwarming comedy-drama which will appeal to all sections of family audiences. Dhanush plays the role of a food delivery boy in the movie. He shares a good bonding with his grandfather (played by Bharathiraja) and his best friend (Nithya Menen).
Prakash Raj essayed the role of a strict father to the lead hero. Priya Bhavani Shankar and Raashi Khanna played the female lead roles in the movie.
The trailer has a good mix of humour, emotions and action quotient. The background score by Anirudh Ravichander is refreshing. Anirudh is teaming up with Dhanush after a gap of six years.
On the whole, the trailer of Thiruchitrabalam is filled with positive vibes. Sun Pictures are bankrolling the film. It is slated for a worldwide release on August 18.
