Dil Raju’s Comments Stir Debate In T-Town!

Mega producer Dil Raju who played the key role in calling off the shootings in Tollywood such that all the biggies will sit and discuss things related to the well-being of the industry got trolled after Bimbisara and Sitaramam turned out to be huge blockbusters. But then, he later made an interesting comment, which is now worrying many industry folks. 

Speaking at the Bimbisara success party, Dil Raju commented that the film turned out to be a huge hit, proving that the audience will like a film if the script is new, and then if films are made in stipulated budgets with the hero, director and producer discussing a budget and sticking to the economics. These words have now shaken up some biggies in Tollywood who exactly do the opposite of it. 

Well, it is a known fact that films with star heroes are crossing the budget limits mainly due to heroes putting up a huge demand in terms of other actors, locations and shooting days. At the same time, some big producers are unnecessarily spending a bomb on films that should be actually made with half the spent budget. All those batches are said to have got hurt by Dil Raju’s comments. 

At a recent party that took place at the guest house of a top producer, actually these comments of Dil Raju are being discussed and some top producers got into a spat over the same. That explains how things are going on inside the Guild too.
