Nithiin’s mass action entertainer Macherla Niyojaka Vargam has opened to highest collections for the actor. The movie is said to have raked in 4.67 Cr share in Telugu states, while the country wide collections reportedly stand at 4.96 Cr share. Overall, the movie is said to have grossed over 10 Cr worldwide on day one.

Nithiin is quite elated with the box office numbers and he thanked the audience for such huge response. “I thank Telugu audience for giving me the biggest opener in my career. I believed that I always have your support. Coming to this movie, I changed genre and did an action movie, after a long time. You supported the movie well.

I watched Macherla Niyojakavargam, along with the audience, on first day. The claps and whistles for the comedy scenes and the action part thrilled me. It is learnt that, the second day is also very strong. Vennela Kishore’s comedy worked out, so is the action. I’ve been getting positive response for my new look in the movie. It’s a happy feeling for me to get these huge openings, under the current circumstances. All the technicians worked really hard for the movie.”
