Vijay Deverakonda is making a comeback in theatres after a gap of more than two and a half years. His latest flick Liger is set for a grand release on August 25. The film’s team has been doing a promotional tour all over the country for the last few days.
Liger’s team was in Guntur last night for the pre-release event of the film. Speaking at the event, Vijay said that he is waiting for a long time to meet his fans on a stage like this.
“Your love and affection made me stand here in front of you in this position. Not only here, but I have been receiving love across the cities we visited for the last few days,” he stated.
“I will not forget the last 20 days. I will make memorable films for you. Liger is one such film. When I heard this story, the only word that came to my mind was ‘Mental’. I was very excited to bring this film to you as soon as possible. The film will be out in five days. We will rock for sure,” added Vijay.
Directed by Puri Jagannath, Liger features Ananya Panday as the female lead. Ramya Krishna, Mike Tyson, and Rohit Roy played the other important roles in it.
