Already the bad show of big-ticket films and a good show of South movies are troubling Bollywood a lot right now. Films like Shamshera, Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan that are supposed to shake Bollywood have sunk at the ticket windows. And in September, the whole Hindi industry is hoping that Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra Part 1 and Hrithik Roshan’s Vikram Vedha will do the needful.
Guess what, while Telugu film Karthikeya 2 has already taken by a storm thus paining the likes of Laal Singh Chaddha, even September is going to be a bit of trouble for the Hindi box office, this time from Hollywood. While Vijay Devarakonda’s Liger is hitting cinemas on August 25th, two Hollywood films that have already collected monstrous from the box office are re-releasing in Hindi again.
While ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ is hitting cinemas for the second time on Sep 2nd, the iconic ‘Avatar’ is re-releasing on Sep 23rd, as the sequel Avatar: The Way Of Water is slated for Dec 16th, 2022 release. If these two click again at the box office, surely a part of the revenue will be eaten away by them before Ranbir’s Brahmastra (Sep 9th) and after Hrithik-Saif’s Vikram Vedha (Sep 30th)
