One of the much hype TV shows in recent times is none other than “House Of The Dragons” which happens to be the prequel of the super hit cult TV show “Game Of Thrones” which holds the record for the highest viewership globally. While the first episode of HOD hasn’t impressed many, the second episode further disappointed them all with some lackluster screenplay.
GOT is always popular for its shock value, crisply dialogues that hit a nail straight into the heart and the way each scene unfolds and closes. However in the second episode of HOD, many thought that Princess Rhaenyra will unleash her talents but then she was limited to a couple of scenes that actually lacked depth from the point of direction.
While King Viserys’s decision to marry a 12-year-old kid showcases what the age of Kingdoms used to be like, it hasn’t given many shockers. But the real shock came when he announced that he will marry Hand Otto’s daughter, Alicent Hightower, who happens to be the best friend of Rhaenyra.
The only visually shocking moment in the whole 1-hour episode is the show of Crabfeeder, who is not yet introduced to the audience, but the way he tortures men by feeding them to crabs is disturbing yet intriguing. However, when the show is all about Dragons and there are not many ‘dracarys’ moments in it, surely it will be disappointing and the second episode is paler than the inaugural episode of the show.
