Allu Arvind Asking Rajamouli To Become Partner?

Almost a decade ago, legendary director SS Rajamouli and mega-producer Allu Arvind have partnered as director and producer to come up with “Magadheera”. Though the director was expected to work again with Geetha Arts later, somehow things didn’t work out. And now, it looks like the mega-producer wants Rajamouli for his new venture.

We’ve already come out with the news about the ‘concept art’ developed by Geetha Arts for their venture for Disney+Hotstar’s “Mahabharat”. However, getting a concept created is easy but carving out a web series or movie with similar intensity and narrating a story with aesthetic visuals is something tough that only the likes of Rajamouli mastered. For the same reason, rather than asking Rajamouli to become the showrunner of the project, which the director will not be willing to do anyway, Allu Arvind is said to have asked him to join “Allu Entertainment” as a partner if reports are to be believed.

Back then, when Akkineni Nageswara Rao constructed Annapurna Studios, he made late Dasari Narayana Rao a ‘creative director’ of the studio for a certain time. During that period, Dasari literally helped Akkineni acquire rights to many novels and other stories and paved the way for Annapurna to deliver blockbuster hits back to back. Looks like even Allu Arvind wants Rajamouli to do the same for his new company. Will Rajamouli accept it?
