This Salman’s Film Is Katamrayudu Remake!?

Sometimes, no one understands why few filmmakers chose certain remakes. Despite the fact that Tamil superstar Ajith’s Veeram movie got dubbed into Telugu and released on streaming sites as well, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan went ahead to remake it in the name of “Katamarayudu”. The film failed to click at the Telugu box office for its routine content.

And now, we are hearing that even Salman Khan got infatuated with this film and his latest film is nothing but a remake of this Tamil-Telugu film. Whether Salman took the rights of Veeram or Katamarayudu is not known, but gossip is that his latest movie “Kisi Ka Bhai, Kisi Ki Jaan” is nothing but a remake of this south project only. Well, one wonders why Salman chose it as the film got nothing novel to offer, but then he has Pooja Hegde playing the lead while Venkatesh did a terrific cameo.

Back in the day, Salman remade some superhit south films like Pokiri, Ready, Bodyguard and much more, and scored super hits at the box office. But the changing trends have dampened his plans, and we have to see how this latest offering from the Bhai fares with the audience in case if it happens to be a remake of Katamarayudu.
