VJ Sunny needs no introduction to Telugu audiences. He started off his career as a VJ and later became a TV serial actor. He shot to fame among Telugu households with his stint in television soaps. He then participated in Bigg Boss Telugu season 5.
His stint in Bigg Boss changed Sunny’s career. He got wide popularity with his performance in the show. The fan base developed and eventually, he won the show. But the Bigg Boss jinx affected him as well.
Generally, whoever wins Bigg Boss, fails to make it big in the film industry. That was the case with Shiva Balaji, Kaushal, Rahul Sipligunj and Abhijeet. The same thing is repeated in the case of Sunny.
Sunny’s maiden film as a lead hero, Sakala Gunabhirama, hit the screens yesterday. He pinned a lot of hopes on this film and wanted it to become a huge success. Unfortunately, the film got poor openings and also became a disaster at the box office.
Thus, Sunny became another Bigg Boss title winner who failed to get big recognition in the film industry.
