Mega Daughter’s ‘Shootout At Alair’ Is Controversial?

Launching her own “Gold Box Entertainment”, mega daughter Sushmita Konidela is venturing into film production now. As her first assignment, she is carving out a web series under Anand Ranga’s direction. The title of the web series is rumoured to be “Shootout at Alair” and we hear that the content is going to be controversial.

If you could remember, Alair shootout incident deals with the death of terrorist Vikar Ahmed alias Vikaruddin, who has shot dead a constable and injured other police personnel back in 2010 as an act of revenge for police firing that happened after Mecca Masjid blast. Vikar Ahmed happens to be a member of the militant organization Tehreek-Ghalba-E-Islam.

Back in 2015, Vikar and his accomplices were being taken to Hyderabad from Warangal prison, during which they tried to run away snatching a weapon, and police killed them in defence. The encounter turned out highly controversial as Vikar’s father alleged that this is a cold-blooded encounter.

Now, ‘Shootout at Alair’ featuring Prakash Raj and Sampath in the leads, is said to have dealt with the same content. Some insiders revealed that there are lots of controversial stuff inside this series and might feel the heat after release.
