‘Akhanda’ Shades Confirmed In Prabhas’ Salaar?

One of the most anticipated films of 2023 is Prabhas’ Salaar as the Baahubali superstar teamed up with KGF creator Prashant Neel for the first time. And the various posters that have come from the film have already upped expectations that too with a finesse actor like Prithviraj Sukumaran playing the villain role, things are going to be a stunner on the silver screen.

It is now coming out that “Salaar” will have shades of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda although not in the same exact manner. While the second half of Akhanda deals with that of an Aghora who comes to interior Telugu lands to take care of the villains who are disrupting the peace here, Salaar deals with a devotee of Goddess Kaali. There will be huge elements related to a special sect that worships Kaali and how they indulge in various activities in both disrupting peace and maintaining peace.

Though there are various rumors emerged regarding the character of Prabhas who is said to be playing an extension of the role of Farmaan from KGF2, still there is not much clarity about it. However, several action episodes in the backdrop of a huge Kaali temple were shot already which are going to be breathtaking for fans and movie lovers alike.

Featuring Shruti Haasan as the leading lady, Salaar is set for 28 September 2023 release.
